The Denon PMA710AE builds upon the highly rated PMA-510AE with a number of sonic and feature enhancements. Like the PMA510, the PMA710 uses a High Current Single-Push-Pull circuit for exceptional dynamics and detail. The high current power supply ensures that the bass is always deep and sustained yet never overbearing. The PMA710AE takes this one stage further by offering a large capacity electrolytic condenser to help give a 10% boost in power output. As you'd expect from a quality Denon product, the PMA710AE also features a number of selected components; chosen especially for their audio performance. There's also a vibration-resistant casing with Direct Mechanical Ground Construction. Tuned in Europe for an audiophile standard sound quality, the PMA-710AE is one of the best sounding amps at its price. In terms of features, the PMA710 is even better than the PMA510 which, itself, is impressively kitted out. There's a stereo pre-amp output to enable the use of active speakers, sub or a separate power amplifier. The three line level inputs are complemented by two recording loops, making a total of five line level inputs. In addition to this, the Denon PMA-710AE boasts an MM phono input for your turntable - a more unusual input these days. With the '710 you can also select a different source to record from the one you're listening to. Two sets of speaker outputs allow you to have music in another room whilst the headphone socket is ideal for private listening. Finished to Denon's usual high standards and featuring an elegant aluminium front panel, the Denon PMA-710AE has the looks and build quality to match more expensive products. If you like the sound of a PMA510 but require that bit more punch and perhaps extra flexibility, then the PMA710AE is for you.
